Wow! I have not visited my site in several months. I noticed that many people had read my posts and that I had received many claps. What an encouragement to continue to post — -You folks would not believe all that has happened. I bought a house about three years ago and spent tens of thousands and a year of labor re-roofing, patching and painting, re-plumbing and upgrading the electrical. I sold it on a real estate contract two years ago. I received a letter in July of this year stating that they had unexpectedly received a free house from a family member and therefore would not need my house. “Sorry for any inconvenience and here are the keys.” According to the neighbors, they had 7 dogs and two cats. The stench was unbelievable. I have now spent the last six months cleaning, scrubbing the floors with a shampooer, spraying the entire house top to bottom with Shellac, repairing the air conditioner, plumbing, doors and walls, replacing flooring and painting. I believe that I have it sold, once again. — Regarding my book about my rental experiences. — I have sent a query to an agent and have not heard back. You folks might not know that I have also written a book (historical, romance, time travel) which has also been queried to an agent. Keep tuned. i will have some stories about buyers who have been affected by the closing of the escrow office which held their property tax and insurance money, soon.
