From rags to...well?

My husband and I are both recovering addicts, clean and sober just over 5 years now. In the time we’ve been together we have built a life to the best of our ability, new jobs, new vehicles, new home. The problem is, we are drowning in debt as a result. I carry the guilt of having brought EXTRA debt to the table from wreckage I created in my addiction.

I needed to find a way to help out more, to take some of the pressure off my husband, to show my son that hard work DOES pay off…

I studied and got my life insurance license. I knew that there was no way we were ever going to get ahead at our current rates of pay, something had to change. I’ve been able to make a little extra, but with a full time regular job, it’s been hard. I seem to be spending more (gas, leads, time) to be an agent than I’m making. I feel like I’m causing more pain than I’m solving.

Then my husband started learning about making money online. We watched videos, joined Facebook groups, networked with people, but no one seemed to be telling the full story. We couldn’t figure out how to make it work. We got more and more discouraged, like none of this was ever going to get any better.

Then we found it! We hope lol We started a program that seems to have really helped people. We committed! We are united! If it works out, I could start generating my own local leads for my insurance business, my husband can make extra money online. We can see the light at the end of this tunnel of debt, and this is part of it. Putting myself out there, sharing my story, hopefully inspiring someone else.

We are only at the beginning of this journey. I still don’t know yet if it’s going to help, but I have hope, and hope has been scarce in the last few years.

It’s still going to be a lot of work, and there’s a lot to learn, but hopefully you will continue through this journey with me.

Until next time, Eva
